ROBERT ZIELASCO *1948, Vienna. 1967 - 1972 studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts under Prof. Eckert. 1978/79 Rome scholarship. 1979 Theodor Körner Prize. 1980 and 81 stay in India and East Asia. "Art brings life, is like breathing, is an organism. It is not a luxury but a necessity that makes inner realities visible and frees them. In other words, an affirmation of life. Art is surface and depth - I reach for the colors until the unexpected happens. Moreover - a picture speaks for itself and does not need to be discussed - its secret eludes language."
