Service Description

In this course you will immerse yourself in the exciting world of relief based on an abstract template or your own drawing (pine or linden). You can work either as a line engraving or a sculptural relief. You will also get to know great works of relief art. Lecture on the world of sculpture Sculpture can be very diverse. From Donatello to Alberto Giacometti to Fabio Viale, many representatives have made their own way. A lecture with image analysis from art history and your own work as a sculptor form the basis, material samples to touch and feel expand the eventful lecture. Exciting stories and myths about various works of art from the West will be presented to you in an interesting way. A museum visit is also planned, excluding admission! List of materials: Relief • Photo or black and white print of a self-made drawing in low opacity • Pencil, sharpener and eraser • Apron or older clothing • The course leader brings wood and carving tools Art history • Notebook or notebook for taking notes and/or drawing • Long pencil for measuring, sharpener and eraser • Book tip “The History of Art” by Ernst H. Gombrich (optional)
