Service Description
If you are not yet familiar with this medium, I invite you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of encaustic in this 2-day course. This painting technique, which is over 2,000 years old, combines hot beeswax with dammar and is applied in several layers. Various mixed media materials are used between the layers of wax, which are fixed with a hot air dryer or Bunsen burner. At the beginning of the course, you will learn about wax, how it is made and how to use it correctly. In the second step, we will work on a 20 x 20 cm surface to practice and determine your design.
